United Federation of Planets

The Federation logo

The United Federation of Planets is one of two playable factions in Star Trek Online. It is the governing body of an alliance of hundreds of worlds and races (including founding worlds Earth, Vulcan, Andor and Tellar), each working in cooperation to better the whole and to explore space.

The military and exploration branch of the Federation is Starfleet, of which each Federation player will be a member.
